Meet the Owners

Fun Kuts 4 Kids is owned by Michelle and Jeff Kraemer.  They decided to open a kids’ salon in Oswego two years ago, after becoming part of the community and realizing there was nothing in the area that catered to kids. There are so many kids that are afraid of hairkuts and there was nowhere for parents to take them.
Michelle has been cutting hair for 10 years, while concentrating on kids for almost five.  She loves seeing the smiling little faces knowing there is no doubt that she loves what she does and being part of such a great community.
While Jeff has a fulltime career in business, he also loves spending time at the salon.  He feels it brings such a refreshing sense of energy to be around kids.  It also gives him a chance to meet new people that he normally would not get to meet.


Meet the Staff

Erica Thomas is a fulltime stylist and has been working in a salon since she was 15 years old.  Once cosmetology school was finished, she worked in and at one point managed at some of your major salon chains in the suburban areas.  It was about 4 years ago when Erica ventured into a children’s salon, and quickly realized this was where she belonged.
 

Krista Kraemer is a fulltime stylist and has been working in a salon for 4 years. She has wanted to be a cosmetologist since she was a little girl. Since Krista comes from a very large family, she has always enjoyed being around children. She knew as soon as she finished cosmetology school that working with children is where she wanted to be.

Danielle Clemens is a part-time stylist who was able to finish cosmetology school while still attending high school. She is now working her way through college at Northern Illinois University.  She has been working with children for about 4 years.  Her major in college is also focused on children.

Francesca Giurasi is a full time stylist and has been cutting hair for 25 years.  After graduating cosmetology school she has worked in a full service salon, barber shop, and a product testing salon. Five years ago she ventured into working strictly with children. She enjoys working with kids and enjoys seeing their smiling faces! Francesca is very good at making children feel comfortable and making them laugh.
